PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Shirley H. Wills, 70, of Perryville died Tuesday, April 18, 2006, at her home. She was born Jan. 15, 1936, in Pueblo, Colo., daughter of Harry and Hattie Steben Triebes. She and Vernon L. Wills were married June 13, 1964. Wills received a teaching degree from St. John's College in Winfield, Kan. She had been a teacher, secretary and librarian at Immanuel Lutheran School...

A funeral will be held Thursday, April 20th, 2006 for 70-year-old Shirley H. Wills of Perryville who died today, Tuesday, April 18th, at her residence.

She was born January 15th, 1936 in Pueblo, Colorado, the daughter of Harry and Hattie (Steben) Triebes, who both preceded her in death.

She married Vernon L. Wills on June 13th, 1964. He survives in Perryville.

She is also survived by a son and daughter in law, Ron and Jill Wills of Perryville; a daughter and son in law, Carla and Jim Adams of St. Petersburg, Florida and five grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Marion Farmer.

She was a school teacher and librarian at Immanuel Lutheran School.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, past president of Chancel Guild, the Extension Club, church organist, church choir, Sunday school teacher and earned her teaching degree at St. John's College in Winfield, Kansas.

Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, April 19th and 6:30 -11:30 a.m. Thursday, April 20th at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

A funeral for 70-year-old Shirley H. Wills of Perryville will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 20th at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The Revs. Thomas Handrick, Matthew Marks and Christopher Cole will co-officiate.

Memorials may be made to the Immanuel Lutheran School Building Fund and Saxony Lutheran High School.
