A Funeral mass will be held Thursday, March 6th, 2008 for 77-year-old Irene B. Wingerter of Perryville, who died Monday, March 3rd, 2008 at the Independence Care Center.
She was born March 6th, 1930 in Longtown, the daughter of Leo and Adella (Hennemann) Buchheit. They preceded her in death.
She married Elmer Wingerter May 20th, 1950. He preceded her in death.
She is survived by a daughter and son in law, Karen and Mark Roy of Perryville; a brother, Elmer Buchheit of Friedheim; two sisters, Mildred Miget and Eula Renner, both of Perryville; two grandchildren, Natalie and husband Corey Robinson, and Jared Roy; two great gandchildren, Drake and Rylee Robinson.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Benjamin.
She was a stitcher at International Shoe and a cafeteria worker at Perry County School District 32.
Visitation will be from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 5th at the Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville. Catholic Wake at 7 p.m. Visitation continues from 6:30-11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 6th at the Chapel. Rosary recital at 10:30 a.m.
Funeral Mass for 77-year-old Irene B. Wingerter of Perryville will be celebrated at noon Thursday, March 6th, 2008 at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
