Winkler, Alice Aleen (nee White)
PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Alice Aleen Winkler, 80, of Perryville died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at her home.
She was born July 4, 1928, in Madison County, Mo., daughter of Elza John and Mary Hendrix White. She and William Winkler were married July 27, 1946.
Winkler was a member of Whitewater Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband of Friendly Valley, Mo.; two daughters, Donna Shadron and Joann Overbey of Perryville; a son, Del Winkler of Friendly Valley; a sister, Betty Hacker of Perryville; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a brother and a sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to service time Sunday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with Ray White officiating. Burial will be in Mount Gilead Cemetery in Madison County.
