PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Zita B. Winkler, 83, of Perryville died Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Holiday Residential Care Center in Perryville. She was born June 26, 1931, at Apple Creek, Missouri, to Louis and Dorothy Buchheit Hennemann. She and Walter J. Winkler were married Oct. 16, 1954, at Apple Creek. A funeral will be held Thursday, May 28, 2015 for 83-year-old Zita B. Winkler of Perryville, who died Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Holiday Residential Care Center in Perryville.
She was born June 26, 1931 at Apple Creek, the daughter of Louis Hennemann and Dortothy Buchheit Hennemann who both preceded her in death.
She married Walter J. Winkler on Oct. 16, 1954 at Apple Creek.
He preceded her in death on Dec. 30, 2013.
She is survived by a brother: Irwin (Marilyn) Hennemann of Perryville, a sister: Bernice Clements of Old Appleton and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2015 and 6:30-9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral mass for 83-year-old Zita B. Winkler of Perryville will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 28 at St. Joseph Catholic Church-Apple Creek. The Rev. Jim French will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Michaels’s Cemetery-Apple Creek.
Memorials may be made to Crown Hospice or St. Michael’s Cemetery.
