Wiseman, Earline

Earline Wiseman, 73, of Crump, passed away Monday, February 17, 2014, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born February 3, 1941, in Crump, to Oscar “Earl” and Flora Williams Wiseman.

Earline was a graduate of Delta High School. She worked 30 years in Washington D.C. for the FBI as a fingerprint examiner, retiring in 1999 and returning to Crump.

She was a member of Bethlehem General Baptist Church in Crump and the Hesther Eakins Women’s Missionary Society. She loved southern gospel music and enjoyed making fudge, which she sent to friends and family throughout the United States.

Loving survivors include her mother, Flora of Crump; a brother, J.E. (Evelyn) Wiseman of Whitewater; four sisters, Nelda Green of Jackson, Nora Garnett of Cedar Park, Tex., Elaine (Vince) DiRago of Madison, Ala., Judy (John) Kinney of Sparta, Oh.; and many dear nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends may call Wednesday, February 19, 2014, from 4 to 8 PM, at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral service will be Thursday, February 20, 2014, at 10:30 AM, at the funeral home, with the Revs. Joe Allen and Jimmie Fulbright officiating.

Interment will follow at Proffer Cemetery in Crump.

Memorials may be made to the Hesther Eakins Women’s Missionary Society or a church or charity of your choice.
