Wood, Anna Marie (nee Moore)
Funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 30, 1999 for 94-year-old Anna Marie Wood of Perryville who died Thursday at PerryOaks Healthcare Center.
She was born on Nov. 16, 1904 in Perry County, the daughter of the late Marcellus and Rosa Tucker Moore.
She was married to Wallace E. Wood on Nov. 25, 1925. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1981.
Children surviving are: Paul E. Wood of Perryville; Joseph E. Wood of Aurora, Mo.; Patricia r. Jokerst, Carol Mattinly and Kay Fuhrman, all of Perryville; and Eileen Mattingly of St. Mary.
Twenty-one grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren also survive.
She was preceded in death by six brothers, three sisters, one son, and three grandchildren.
She was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church and the Blessed Sacrament Sodality.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday from 6:30 – 11:10 a.m. at the Miller Family Funeral Home. Parish wake service Friday at 7 p.m.; Rosary Saturday at 10:30 a.m.
Funeral Mass for Anna Marie Wood will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at Christ the Savior Catholic church. Rev. Felipe Martinez, C.M. will officiate. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.
The family requests memorials be sent to Masses.
