Wright, Daryl

Daryl Wright, 54, of Jackson passed away Sunday, June 19, 2005, at his home.

He was born Nov. 19, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, son of Robert R. and Clara Jaco Wright. He and Teresa McClard were married June 17, 1972.

Daryl was a 1968 graduate of Jackson High School. He attended Southeast Missouri State University 18 months.

He then worked 27 years in the E&I Shop at Procter & Gamble. In 1990 he and his brother, Butch, co-founded Advanced Technology Products in Jackson, and Daryl remained instrumental in the business until his death. He attended Crossroads Baptist Church in Jackson, and was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman.

Loving survivors include his wife of 33 years, Teresa; two sons and daughters-in-law, Scott and Candyce Wright of Jackson, Dusty and Angela Wright of Ballwin, Mo.; his mother, Clara Wright of Jackson; a brother and sister-in-law, Robert "Butch" and Pam Wright of Jackson; a sister and brother-in-law, Carole and Ken Ludwig of Doylestown, Pa.; and a granddaughter, Alexis Wright.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with Dr. Brian Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Crossroads Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
