Yallaly, Nelda Imogene A.
Nelda Imogene A. Yallaly, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Feb. 6, 2011, at Life Care Centers of Cape Girardeau.
She was born Jan. 15, 1925 in Cape Girardeau to Dr. George and Genevieve Doll Yallaly.
Imogene had worked for Tucker Truck Line for many years and later worked as a clerk for the city of Cape Girardeau, retiring in February 1987.
She was a member of St. Mary Cathedral and American Legion Post No. 63 Auxiliary.
Survivors include a brother, John (Barbara) Yallaly of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Nancy (Ron) Unterreiner of Cape Girardeau; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and two brothers.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel with Parish prayers at 7 p.m.
Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Cathedral with the Rev. Tom Kiefer officiating.
Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Mary Cathedral.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
