Yount, Milford Marvin "Cub"
MARQUAND, Mo. -- Milford M. "Cub" Yount, 87, of Marquand passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011, at Saint Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 20, 1924, in Patton, Mo., son of Herbert M. and Mattie M. Harmon Yount. He and Olga Jean Cureton were married Nov. 5, 1947.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; a brother, Bob Yount; and a son, Ernest Yount.
He is survived by two sons, Kelvin (Patty) Yount and Alan Yount of Marquand; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today at Follis and Sons Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Mo.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Union Light Church in Marquand, with interment in Union Light Cemetery.
