Yount, William Audrian
CHESAPEAKE - William Audrian Yount, 81, of the 4100 block of McNeal Ave., died May 3, 2008, in his residence.
He was a native of Perryville, Mo., and had retired as a service investigator with Dominion Virginia Power. Mr. Yount was a lifelong member of Oaklette United Methodist Church, United Methodist Men, Tidewater Wheels Camping Club and was a volunteer fireman in the Washington District and was a U.S. Army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn L. Yount; three sisters, Rose A. Rice, Fern Y. Carter and Lillie Y. Early and husband Andy, all of Chesapeake; four nephews, Davis Harris, Jeffrey Carter, Rocky Natchus and Michael Natchus; nine nieces, Margaret Ann Calhoun, Carol Woody, Faye Meads, Linda Sue Meads, Cynthia Carter-West, Karen Howell, Kim Berry, Diane Springer and Melissa Silverman; numerous great- nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Charles Litten and his wife Judy and children, Jennifer, Chuck and Jonathan.
A funeral will be conducted in Oaklette United Methodist Church Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel, Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Oaklette United Methodist Church.
