Zahner, Eugene J., Sr.
A funeral will be held Tuesday, June 13th, for 61-year-old Eugene J. Zahner Sr. of Perryville who died Sunday, June 11th at his home in Perryville.
He was born October 5th, 1938 in Perry County, the son of Wallace S. Zahner and Agnes Morice Mowry who both preceded in death.
Two sons survive him: Eugene J. Zahner Jr. of Perryville and David C. Zahner of Cape Girardeau.
One sister survives: Della Taylor of Ste. Genevieve.
Four brothers survive: Lilburn Zahner of Hephzibah, Georgia; Ralph Zahner of Lithium; and Harold Zahner and Garrie Zahner, both of Perryville.
A sister and one brother also preceded him in death.
He was a night watchman at the Association of the Miraculous Medal in Perryville.
He was a musician, who enjoyed playing the guitar and fiddle.
Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. this (Monday, June 12th) afternoon and evening and from 6:30-10 a.m. Tuesday, June 13th at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
A funeral for 61-year-old Eugene J. Zahner of Perryville will be held Tuesday, June 13th at 10 a.m. at the Miller Family Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Home Cemetery in Perryville. The Rev. Irvin Brooks will officiate.
