Zahner, Raymond J.
PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Raymond J. Zahner, 81, of Perryville died Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Independence Care Center.
He was born Nov. 25, 1931, in Perryville, son of John and Bertha Behrle Zahner. He married Helen R. Moll, who died Feb. 3, 2006.
Raymond was a farmer and also worked in construction. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the Missouri Department of Conservation.
Survivors include two sisters, Geraldine Nantz and Mary Kessell of St. Louis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a brother.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, and 6:30 to 9:20 a.m. Saturday at Miller Family Funeral Home. The rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, with the Rev. Stephen Gallegos officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

He was born Nov. 25, 1931 in Perryville, the son of John Zahner and Bertha Behrle Zahner who preceded him in death.
He married Helen R. Moll. She preceded him in death on Feb. 3, 2006.
He is survived by two sisters: Geraldine Nantz and Mary Kassel, both of St. Louis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a brother.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1, 2013 and 6:30-9:20 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville.
The Rosary will be recited at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the funeral home.
