Maxine was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau. Besides her Lord and family, her true loves were her piano, birds and gardening. In her later years, she traveled extensively with her dear friends Millie Strom and Mildred Mueller.

In addition to her parents and beloved husband, she was preceded in death by brothers Hal and Glenn Isley; and a sister, Ruby Seabaugh.
