Zimmerman, Edna Mae (nee Friese)
FRIEDHEIM, Mo. -- Edna "Mae" Zimmerman, 80, of Friedheim died Sunday, June 9, 2002, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 6, 1922, at Sedgewickville, Mo., daughter of Albert and Dona Hobeck Friese. She and Elmer Walter Zimmerman were married April 21, 1940, at Friedheim. He died Sept. 14, 1988.
Zimmerman attended the former Probst School near Sedgewickville. She and her husband resided and farmed in Friedheim all their married life. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three brothers, Luther Friese of Jackson, Mo., Oda and Ora Friese of Oak Ridge, Mo.; two sisters, Ella Yeager of Oak Ridge, and Jane Wille of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, with the Rev. David Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
