Zoellner, Gerald L. "Jerry"

Gerald "Jerry" L. Zoellner, 77, of Perryville, Missouri, died Aug. 29, 2014, at his residence. He was an United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Jerry L. Zoellner, 77, of Perryville died August 29, 2014 at his residence in Perryville, MO.

He was born November 20, 1936 in Perryville, MO, son of Marion "Tony" Aloysius and Mary Ann (VanDoren) Zoellner. He and Faye C. Turlin were married September 27, 1958. She survives in Perryville, MO.

Jerry had been an aircraft mechanic for Sabreliner. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, American Legion Post 133, and K of C Council 1263. He was an US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Other survivors include two daughters, Tanda L. Zoellner of Perryville, Tosca (Vance) McCuan of Jackson; one son, Terry L. Zoellner of St. Louis; four sisters, Marilyn (Russell "Butch") Flentge of Perryville, Nancy (Melvin "Chip") Janet of Cape Girardeau, Mary Ann Clifton of St. Louis, Carol (Russell) Lappe of Perryville; one brother, James (Diedre) Zoellner of Victoria, Canada; six grandchildren, Lanae, Casey, Cody, Mindy, Maci, Candis; one step granddaughter, Megan; and two great-grandchildren, Katie, Jacoby.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, John and Toby; and one great granddaughter, Cadence.

Visitation will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Monday, September 1 from 10:00 am until time of Mass at 1:00 pm with Rev. Milton Ryan CM officiating. Entombment in Mary Queen of Heaven Mausoleum with military graveside provided by American Legion Post 133 and MO Delta Team.

Memorials are preferred to St. Vincent Endowment Fund.
