Zoellner, Iona (nee Barks)
Iona Zoellner, 93, of Friedheim, Mo., died Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jackson.
She was born June 15, 1914, near Daisy, daughter of Jeff and Iva Drum Barks. She and Elmer F. Zoellner were married Feb. 9, 1936, in Friedheim.
She was a lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church at Friedheim, and was a member of the Ladies Aide and served on various other church committees.
Survivors include a daughter, Nelda Siebert of Jackson; a son, Howard Zoellner of Marble Hill, Mo.; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a stepgrandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and an infant daughter.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church at Friedheim.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with the Rev. Adam Mueller officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
McCombs Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
