Zelma J. Zoellner, 79, of Arnold, Mo. died Saturday, Nov. 5, 2011, at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St Louis. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Entombment will be in the Mount Hope Mausoleum in Perryville...

A funeral will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2011 for 79-year-old Zelma J. Zoellner of Arnold, who died November 5, 2011 at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St Louis.

She was born January 18 1932 in Biehle, the daughter of Arthur and Bertha (Berkbigler) Schemel who both preceded her in death.

She married Kenneth C. Zoellner on June 18, 1955. He survives in Arnold.

She is also survived by three daughters: Laurie (Jerry) Moonier of St Mary, Pat (Mike) Whitby of St Louis and Carol (Jim) Schenewerk of Festus; a son: Bruce (Nancy) Zoellner of Fenton, two brothers: Rick Schemel and Kevin Schemel, both of Perryville; three sisters: Dorothy Zotta of St Louis, Bea Schlimgen of Arizona and Allie Kohl of Georgia; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a sister: Gladys Roy and two brothers: Melvin and Wayne Schemel.

She was retired from International Shoe Co. and was a customer service rep. for Target.

She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville.

A funeral mass for 79-year-old Zelma J. Zoellner of Arnold will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville. The Rev. Milton Ryan will officiate. Entombment will be in the Mount Hope Mausoleum in Perryville.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of choice.

The Young & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. in Perryville provided the arrangements.
